Seems like we have a couple birthdays on our hands to kick off the summer! What better way to celebrate than with a FBGZ ride?
We will celebrate the twin nature of Geminis by riding up to Big & Little Talbot Islands for a picnic!!! The route will take us through Mayport to the Ferry, and across the river up to Amelia Island, before looping back for a picnic at Big/Little Talbot Island parks (which one depends on parking availability that day.) Hiking/beach walk/sharks teeth hunting is optional. Sandwiches & chips will be provided.
Where: Meet up at Walmart @ Kernan & Atlantic (11900 Atlantic Blvd) — we will be far out in the parking lot by the gas station.
When: Meet 9:00 AM for gas & safety talk, KSU 9:30 AM
What to bring: Some cash or card for the Ferry ($6.50 each way), your lunch soda of choice, & sunblock if you decide to go out on the beach!
